Kyle Sandilands has claimed on air that Dannii Minogue and Kris Smith have ended their relationship.
The Australian radio personality, who hosts a breakfast show with Jackie O, blurted the news about his fellow Australia's Got Talent judge out this morning before trying to backtrack.
Rumours of the split have been circulating since Minogue reportedly tweeted: "Never chase love. If it isn't given freely by another person, it's not worth having." Smith allegedly then wrote: "You don't know what you have til it's gone," but the tweets have now been removed.
It was later claimed that the couple, who are parents to 10-month-old son Ethan, are struggling to make their relationship work with her Australian and UK television commitments. Yesterday, sources close to the 39-year-old reality TV star insisted that the reports were not true.
Smith was spotted partying at Melbourne nightclub Boutique with Brian McFadden and Vogue Williams at the weekend.
It was recently announced that Minogue will no longer be a judge on the UK version of The X Factor. She said: "Thanks to everyone who has shown me so much love and support, and brought me so much joy during my four incredible years working on the show."
